Spectator Viewing Areas – With the way our course is set up, you will have multiple opportunities to cheer your runners on in just a few locations. Here are the recommended places.
Start/Finish (9401 Indian Creek Parkway, OP, KS 66210) = You’ll get to see them at the start, the 1.75 mile mark, and at the finish.
Indian Creek Recreation Center (10308 Marty St., OP, KS 66212) = The 4.9 and 11.2 mile marks of the marathon & half marathon along with the 18 and 24.3 mile marks of the marathon.
Roe Park (10400 Roe Ave., OP, KS 66207) = The 7.3 and 8.8 mile marks of the marathon and half marathon along with the 20.4 and 21.9 mile marks of the marathon.
Shannon Valley Park (11100 Grant Dr., OP, KS 66210) = The 13.8 and 15.3 mile marks of the marathon
The latter 3 parks have a parking lot to conveniently park right along the race route as well as playgrounds with the Rec Center and Roe Park also having restrooms.
