Spectators are welcome anywhere along the course! Much of the route is difficult to drive to (being on a paved creek trail) so we suggest having a game plan before arriving.
There are several places on the course that the runners/walkers will pass twice. North and South of the start/finish area are good locations as you’ll see all the race participants twice in the first three miles after they start.
After running 3 miles on the streets of Corporate Woods, the half marathoners will do a 10 mile out & back loop heading east on the Indian Creek Trail. The marathoners will do the same before adding a 5K loop heading west on the Indian Creek Trail and then repeating one more 10 mile out & back loop east on the Indian Creek Trail. Here are some spots that are easy to get to and you’ll get to see your runner(s) multiple times!
Half Marathon:

- Roe Park (10400 Roe Ave., Overland Park, KS 66207) – Mile 7.1 & 8.9
Spectators will not be allowed inside the fenced in Finisher Zone or in the Start area.
Marathon:
- Indian Creek Recreation Center (10308 Marty St, Overland Park, KS 66212) – Miles 4.8 & 11.2 (1st Loop)
- Roe Park (10400 Roe Ave., Overland Park, KS 66207) – Mile 7.1 & 8.9 (1st Loop)
- Shannon Valley Park (11100 Grant Dr., Overland Park, KS 66210) – Mile 13.7 & 15.3
- Indian Creek Recreation Center (see above address) – Mile 17.9 & 24.4
- Roe Park (see above address) – Mile 20.3 & 22.1
